John Wolfstone

Rites. Ritual. Remembrance.

I’m grateful you’ve found your way here.

May something in these words, these offerings, stir the ancient remembering within you—the part of you that has always known it came here for something sacred.

You have a gift. Not the kind stamped by resumes or degrees, but the soul-offering you brought into this life with you. Maybe it’s gone quiet. Maybe it was never fully named. But I believe—fiercely and tenderly—that it can be remembered. That it wants to be remembered.

And though the journey is yours, it was never meant to be walked alone.

What I offer here are rites, stories, and sacred containers to help you return—to the Earth, to your gift, to the unshakable knowing that you belong.

If something in you is quickening, pulling you toward deeper ground—welcome. I’ll meet you there.

In reverence,
John

Welcome.

  • Somatice Experiencing

SE™ gently guides the nervous system to release trauma energy and complete stuck protective actions. As that energy moves; stress settles, and resilience returns - often the missing bridge between insight and real, lasting change.

  • Ancestral Divination

Through the power of divination, you are able to receive channeled messages from ancestors, guiding spirits, and elemental entities (i.e. the consciousness of mountain, earth, water) who wish to assist you.

  • Men's Initiation into Guiding

    Men's Initiation into Guiding

Step into your calling as a rites of passage facilitator. This year-long initiatory training is for men ready to guide others through the wild terrain of transformation, rooted in ancestral wisdom, ritual craft, and deep brotherhood.

  • Relational Rites & Rituals

Rituals for repair, rites for becoming. Through conflict mediation and rite-of-passage design, I help individuals and communities honor turning points and restore the sacred in relationship.

"Initiation is not an event but a path of awakening; it demands an approach rooted in patience, reverence, and courage to face the unknown within ourselves.”

Michael Meade

PRAISE

  • "John has helped me anchor down, has supported me through the painful dissolution of my marriage, and has helped to spare me many dead ends on the spiritual path. I’m deeply grateful to John for his wisdom, his courage to challenge me when necessary, and his tenderness in holding me when I feel raw.”

    Rick Ramirez

  • "It is rare to find such a soul centered man in these times. John's presence is both grounded and visionary—rooted in ancestral wisdom while fiercely devoted to cultural renewal. Working with John helps guide you into alignment with soul, and the call to live with greater courage, reverence, and responsibility. He carries a potent and much needed medicine for the times.

    Johannah Reimer

  • “John has a gentle, honest presence that helps me continue to do difficult emotional work rather than avoid it or rationalize. His approach addresses the whole person and is so much more complete than approaches to healing I’ve encountered in the past."

    Amy Walsh

  • “John is at once both a grounding presence and an edge-pusher in his style of Adult Initiation guidance and mentoring. His Ritual and Initiatory literacy combined with tangible middle-world ideas have helped deepen and expand my life while under his guidance.”

About me…

I am a Rites of Passage Guide, Initiatory Facilitator, Mythopoetic Educator, and Wilderness Ritualist, devoted to the remembrance of soul, culture, and Earth.

For over two decades, I’ve been guiding transformative processes that weave myth, movement, and ceremony into immersive rites of passage rooted in ancestral wisdom and animist reverence. My work is deeply informed by study and mentorship within Earth-based lineages, wilderness initiation, and regenerative community practices.

I’m the co-director of the award-winning documentary The Village of Lovers, and co-founder of the School of Mythopoetics—a training ground for soul initiation, cultural repair, and ceremonial leadership. I’m also currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Wisdom Studies at Ubiquity University, with a focus on revitalizing rites of passage for a post-industrial world.

Through storytelling, ritual design, and grief tending, I guide individuals and communities across thresholds of transformation. My facilitation invites a return to deep belonging—with land, lineage, and purpose—and offers maps for becoming trustworthy humans in this time of profound cultural transition.
